We have successfully put all the wheels on the car and are just attaching the servos to the steering.The website is now fully operating and ready for use.

17th May 2007

The pre-judging is on Monday 21st May is held at the Williams F1 Conference Centre.

21st May 2007

Pre-judging went well, and we scored 51.5 points in the IC rookies section.

22nd May 2007

We have run in the car, and have successfully set the carburettor.

24th May 2007

Today we had a major mess up. We use plastic gears, but after a few 'Jeremy Clarkson' style powerslides, we found the drive gear had melted, and the engine no longer links with the gears. We are buying a metal gear. At least the car work, and we know it handles well, however some of the team are worried that the car might have too much accelaration, due to the powerslides, and the wheelspinning on half throttle. We are staying with the current ratios, as they can get to over 40 on a car with more weight. Tomorrow I am buying some new tyres to replace the clapped out Thunder Tiger tyres we are using currently.
